Maggie was INCREDIBLE! By far the best thing we did in preparing for the birth of our daughter was hiring Maggie as our doula. It was so nice having someone in the room who shared our values, especially since I ended up having a fairly traumatic birth experience that involved going to a different hospital and having a different care plan than we had anticipated. An example of her dedication - she drove hours through a foot of snow to make it to the birth. Her presence brought such a positivity and peace into the room, which beforehand had been utter chaos.
